112 days left

Still training, but this is where it gets more intense than ever - 111 days of training left, healthy eating and will power to succeed! - I have to do this for Embo and myself.

I will try and run everyday, but most of all I must keep with the eat to train!.

Well still training

Well yes I know - haven't updated in ages - work has taken over now. Still training, however now need to pick it up to another level or I will not be ready in time.

Work

Well its the beginning of the year for work and that takes first place at the moment, however it will not be forever. I have still been working hard with a good bike ride on the weekends and every other day in the gym. Pushing my running all the time.

This weekend I will be taking myself to a new level with my running with attempting at least an hour and half on the road be it run/walk/run etc.

Pushing myself harder on Saturday or Sunday with a this run and then a hard cycle route the other day.

Gym tomorrow evening to finish the week.

WoW!

So really good run today - extended it a little bit further which included a nice down hill and hard up hill to try and get my lungs working!

Done a few runs this week - but they have been in the gym due to work. However either way today's run was brilliant - felt good!

Done some hard workouts at the gym and today feels like my fitness it getting better all the time.

Food: 1/2 Banana before the run with some water!

Still training!

Well I have to say I am sorry about not updating this - time seems to go so fast and always busy.

Well training go well at the gym and on the bike - need to do more outdoor runs this week - need to start picking it up everyday - I have to admit I do find it really lonely running on your own - but once you switch off and listening to some music on the ipod it soon just feels ok.

I am running quite comfortable at the gym to 5kms which is nice - with the added bike ride and rowing so feeling good. Not hurting too much, legs are a little tired but not sore. Would like to run to 10km in another two weeks if I can.

Been cycling - did a good hour yesterday up some really good hills - starting to feel good - just got to keep pushing myself to the next level weekly as these weeks are just going to go past. I still also need to raise the money - but hey its all for charity and so worth it. Until tomorrow - Paula xx

Week 2

So its Monday - just took a short bike ride today as its my day of rest, tomorrow I will start the 15mins run, 5mins walk twice every other day! However I will only rest from running and continue to use the gym or cycling on these days to build myself up. My passion is my cycling however thats 2011 challenge - To be decided.

So its Tuesday now - run not as good as I wanted its seems very hard to keep going when running alone - however just set myself targets a certain post, a certain corner and aim for that, celebrate when I have reached that - however feeling very sick on this one - however I suppose its just my body getting used this - don't feel this when I go out on my bike even with the hills which my chest finds very difficult - so just putting it down to the running for now. Will go running in the evening tomorrow to see which ones is easier.

So its now Wednesday - going to run everyday, start to pick my training up to a new level - as with Winter on its way, I will need to get to a good fitness so it doesn't hurt my chest so much - today was a bit stop and start - but that was mind over matter - started to think to much about not being able to manage such a distance! Painic mode kicked in - walked calmed myself down, stopped myself from crying - silly as it might sound, when your slightly overweight, not getting any younger etc etc. I hate failing at anything - so you get a little frustrated with yourself - once relaxed again, listening to the music thinking at least I am out getting fit I started to enjoy myself again. Ran on an empty stomach today apart from water, don't feel sick. I think this will be quite an emotional blog in places - sorry!

Week 1

I have been running every other day this week - at 10mins run and 5mins walk. I managed it however I ended up very tired after it, but thats only because my body is not used to it. I do a lot of fitness such as cycling, swimming and going to the gym.

Its been ok - not too many aches - next week I move onto the next stage which is every other day of run 15mins and 5mins walk.

I do keep to the same sort of route as it is mainly flat until I build myself up for a few more weeks.

Today's run was the hardest this week - I don't know why it just was, my chest was hurting a little - but I know that once your body gets used it, it becomes much easier.
